Several weeks ago I was trying to convince Kevin that after he takes the bar we should take off to another island. He kept saying that we can do that anytime and I kept saying that, while we can, we just never do.
Maybe in an effort to prove me wrong, maybe because he realized I had a point, for my birthday (and his) Kevin gave us a trip to Maui.

We had a wonderful time. We loved it.
It might be my favorite island.

Hey, by the way, we used to catch those moon jellies by the bucket-full when I was growing up. They're kind of fun to play with.
I want to live in Hawaii, the only island I can visit is Antelope island . . . sulfur smell, mosquitos, buffalo, I I would rather not! Some day . . . you are my hero, I want to be you.
The boys have a I survived the road to hana shirt. We went and yes Don had to go to the bitter end. We did just that and will always forever remember that road. I do believe it should be called divorce road. But it is a great island. I think my favorite was the helicopter ride, but above that is just sitting on the beach! I think the phrase to you is not the grass is greener on the other side. I think you are where it is at! It is said many times in my house during rain, clouds, black skies... "I'm leaving for Mel's"

Maui-Maui! I love Maui! What a fun trip. I love that in the pictures you took, Bennett was Mr. Smiley with his Mama. And when Kevin was taking the pictures he gave us some rather serious faces. Love it. Good for you for treating yourselves!
Mandi and Tyler are still mad at me that they have never been to another island...now Bennett has and you can relax on that one!
That looks like an awesome trip. I just want to know one thing, why is it that the airlines always have price wars when we aren't there, and when we are planning a trip its 250 for one to travel to an outer island??
We tried the road to Hana once, but we didn't make it. That has to be the longest, windiest road on the planet!
