All In A Days Work

Last Saturday this is what our day included. We spent all morning at the Primary activity. Don't we have cute kids?
While at the activity Bennett and one of his many girlfriends, Abigail, got doted on by their loyal and adoring fans. Their fan club has grown to such a frenzy we are going to have to start charging people to be part of it. Of course, with this small fee, you will get a signed letter and buttons with such slogans as "Vote B&A" and "B&A Forever."
After the activity we headed to Makapu beach. Both Bennett and Kai (shown below) got pounded by a wave. They both did well though--there was no crying.
Afterward they both crashed in the car on the way home. I guess we might have finally wore them out!

These Strange People

I know, I know. I have been silent on this blog for far too long. I just haven't had anything that I REALLY NEEDED to tell you, but now I do. Today my parents did this really strange thing I thought I should tell you guys about.
You see, they took this spoon and they put this stuff in it and then shoved it in my mouth. Where are their manners?!?!
My dad even went as far as turning the spoon upside down in my mouth. What happened to my nice bottle. Now they want me to use this spoon thing! How am I supposed to swallow that?
Then this really strange thing happened...I decided I liked it. They just wouldn't give it to me fast enough though. I kept squawking that I wanted more and they just kept taking their sweet time giving it to me.
I guess it was about time these people started feeding me more than just liquids. That was so last week. I am just bummed I got my nice bib all dirty.

Sleepless in Paradise

Dear Abby, Ann Landers, or anyone with any sort of insight or advice,

For months I have had the perfect child. He is happy. He doesn't cry much. Around two months old he started sleeping through the night, which sealed his spot in the Best Child Hall of Fame. When he was around three months old we went on a trip and his sleeping schedule got a little disturbed. He started waking up once a night--not that big of a deal. However, for the past week and a half he has been getting up 3-4 times a night! I am desperate for more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep! Please tell me what has happened to my wonderful child and how can I fix it?

Sincerely,

Sleepless in Paradise

All Grown Up

Kevin received an offer from a firm (under "Careers" check out "Our View") here in town a couple weeks ago, and after much thought, accepted the offer. Even though he won't be starting till late next summer (after he finishes taking the bar) we're excited about it!

Yay for Visitors!!!

We love to have visitors! Last week Aaron and Angela came to visit us and brought along Eliza. It was fun to have two babies the same age and everywhere we went people asked if they were twins.
Bennett had his first visit to the Hawaii Temple. He even held hands with Eliza on the temple grounds. Is it love at first sight?
They both got doted on at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The girl pictured here, from Fiji, wanted to take them both home.
All in all we had a great time. We were just sad that they had to leave so soon. Hopefully they will come back again soon!

Labor Day Weekend

I know many of you have been holding your breath wondering what crazy adventures we might get up to over a long weekend. Labor Day came and we undertook the great adventure of removing 6 of the tall palm trees from the yard. (Their berries were falling on the other side of the fence and the neighbors dog was getting sick from eating them!)
Kevin's family came over to help with the adventure. I think Jeff was really excited to use a chainsaw.
The trees came down pretty easily and left in a giant heap in the back of the truck.
Other adventure from our holiday weekend not pictured: new fridge and freezer to replace the ones that died while we were on vacation.
