How Much Can You Cram Into One Day?

On Saturday we had a rather busy day that started with breakfast at home (including a hot vanilla!!!)Next we headed out for some whale watching. We didn't see too much but found out they had been quite active earlier that day. After a lovely lunch at Teddy's we headed to the beach. Bennett did pretty well getting in the water till he decided he was too cold. Then he found a new love-the body board. We finished this all off with a quick shower and then off to the Elder's Quorum activity. It was at a local park and as we were all standing around talking and munching was saw whales!!! It was a better show than earlier and a perfect way to end the day!

What a fun, outdoorsy day! I think we need to have a beach day with the kiddies SOON--I'll bring extra body boards for Bennett =).

p.s. Are you sure that last shot wasn't taken at Niagara Falls?

Isn't it always the case that when you are looking for it-it doesn't happen. Those whales were probably wearing smug grins all day long! At least they cut you some slack later on. Cute Bennett!

For goodness sake, Whales?! Sigh. Looks like today is going to be a homesick kind of day.

What park did you see whales from? I've been up to Makapu'u a few times, but it's always been to windy or choppy to see any. I don't feel that my first "winter" in HAwaii will be complete without spotting some!
