4 Weeks or Hopefully Less

We are nearing the arrival of our little girl. That isn't to say that our life is slowing down any.

Last night I had to stop at the gas station on the way to Young Women's to pick up ice. As I lugged the bag to the counter the cashier took one look at me and said, "You shouldn't be out in public. You should be at home resting when you are this close to the end."

I guess I look as tired as I feel! Hopefully these next couple weeks go quickly and we can start on our next adventure.

oh gee. people should just learn to keep their mouths shut when it come to pregnant women. just say congratulations, if they gotta say anything at all. :)

is it that close already...i am so excited for all of you! do you have a designated blogger to get the word out to all of us ASAP?!

i had something similar happen just before having Meghan...bought some groceries at Manoa Safeway and went out to the car...i guess I looked pretty big (I don't think meghan curled up in a ball but stretched out and relaxed the whole time in the comfort of my tummy?!)anyway, the clerks were all talking about how huge and ready to pop I was...they could have gotten away with it except that my sister Patty happened to be the next person in line and heard every word!

Wow - someone said that. Lovely. Remember the line from "Stepmom" where Susan Sarandon tells Julia Roberts that telling someone they look tired is the same as telling them they look like s... I love that line. You, btw, do not look like anything less than an amazing woman who moved, has two-year-old, a very busy husband, AND is almost about to deliver a baby. Hello - that's MORE than enough. Love you!

you shouldn't be out in public?! That is really funny but sort of mean. I hope the person helped you carry your bag of ice to the car! Can't WAIT to meet your little one I bet she'll be gorgeous!

Melanie, do I have to fly out there to see your baby bump!? I want to see pictures...you told me you would post some when you started showing more...if you have less than 4 weeks left I'm pretty sure you're showing! I hope all goes well and can't wait to see her!

Okay it must be the move or starting work or something, but I had NO idea you were pregnant. Congrats! Again, sorry I missed that somewhere along the way-I would have said congratulations sooner. I am so excited for you! She is going to be adorable!
