So, when I said we have been on a crazy trip, I really meant it. This is the first of many installments for the all the places we have been...
The beginning of our trip started in cloudy Seattle. We had a wonderful time visiting with my aunt and her family and then spent a wonderful night with the Richards family. They were very kind to lend us the needed supplies for our camping trip, for which we will be eternally grateful.
After that we drove to Olympic National Park. We decided to go to the far end of the park to camp in the Hoh Rain forest, where the closest town is Forks. Don't worry fanatics, a separate post is coming about the wonder that is Forks and La Push.
We were quite excited to see these guys chilling by the Visitors Center.
Bennett for the first time liked hiking, especially when he got to walk by himself. What is not to like about hiking when you are obsessed with rocks and sticks?!?
Kevin also taught him about the art of throwing rocks into water. It became a theme of the trip!
As beautiful as the mossy gardens were, unfortunately we had to travel on! More to come later.

So you got your husband on a "Twilight tour"...Juli will be so jealous!? Glad you had so much fun!
Beautiful Pictures Mel! We miss you already, come and stay again anytime!
Oh, I am jealous, don't worry.
Be-Yoo-Ti-Ful pics! Can't wait to see more!!
I've been wanting to hear how your trip was...thank goodness for blogs! Bennett is so big now! I haven't even seen him since you guys have been back. We need to get together soon.
Jealous. We were near Olympic this summer but I can never get Dana to drive the hour or so out of the way to go to Forks. "There are no vampires" is his defense. Pretty weak. Can't wait for this pics!
