Yesterday, after three long years, Kevin graduated from law school. It has been a long road and I am so grateful for all the hard work he put in. I forced him to walk since he didn't do it for his undergrad. Of course graduation wouldn't be complete without an outdoor ceremony is sweltering heat and humidity with a down pour in the midst of it all to get us all nice and wet.
Kevin and Nick were the LDS students of this graduating class and also were on law review together. His wife got me through many law school functions. Thank goodness for her to save me from many conversations I had no idea what they were talking about!
Kevin seems pretty happy about being done, but even more excited about our trip.
Can you tell that I am just a little excited? Now it is on to the bar--wish us luck!

"little excited"?? Yah I'm over the moon! Thank you melanie for keeping me from dying from boredom at those exciting law school functions we attended! I'm a little jealous that Kevin is taking the bar this summer because Nick is going to wait until his internship is done. Oh well.

Kevin...at the temple today, a young man, Chad Little, said to say hi to you! He said that you and Melanie were in the same ward as him a few years back! I shared with him your good news on graduating from law school!
