Welcoming Callie

Our little family has grown! 

On August 1st at 3:18am (I know, what an unearthly hour!) we welcomed Callie Dominique.

She weighed in at a whopping 5lbs. 10oz. and 18 inches long.

Our family has been pretty excited to have her finally here.

Bennett is the gushing older brother who is so proud of himself for "what he has done." He doesn't actually call Callie by her name, he refers to her as "My New Baby." Don't worry he has already put in orders for a boy next and lots and lots more babies. We might have to talk about this...

And Holland is trying to love Callie to death. I am surprised at how each morning she is still amazed to find a baby in our house. Wonder when that one will wear off?

All in all, we are doing great and are excited to have little Callie as part of our family.

As of last Monday Kevin now works here! It was a long process and a big decision, but we are pretty excited about it.

Where Have We Been?

I am not sure where all the time has gone. I could have sworn I posted on here last week, but I guess it has been a little longer than that. 

This is where we have been...

Holland enjoyed a lovely visit to the ER for fluids after over a month of chronic diarrhea and vomiting (don't you love that as a parent you talk about these things without flinching). After countless tests (eh um, stool samples included) the doctors were stumped as to what could be causing the problem. On a hunch, we stopped feeding her dairy and behold, problem solved. It is really nice to have my happy baby back.

                                                                                                                                                                   

  

Ben and I had our annual date to carnival. He discovered the joys of throwing water balloons at people. Who knew life could be so fun?!?!

Since for the first time in what felt like forever everyone was healthy, we enjoyed a few trips to the beach. It felt great!

Bennett finally got his hands on black rain boots, which of course he refers to as his fireman boots! He got them just in time, since it pretty much rained for the whole month of March.

With all the rain we have had to find some fun indoor activities to keep us busy. Ben and Holland discovered sneaking each other treats, and the joys of indoor forts!

By far, the funniest thing I have ever found when I have gone to check on Ben before I go to bed. The next morning he told me that the toys asked to sleep with him.

We had a wonderful conference weekend!

And last, but not least, we found out that Baby #3 is a girl!

New Additions!

Meet our newest addition.

Isn't she a beauty? I have never felt so giddy about a car that I wanted to name it, but I toss around names for her every time I go to drive her.

And in case you are worried that this car might be a little too big for our little family...

we will be adding one more person in August!

Still Alive

I promise we didn't drop off the face of the earth, just lost the chord for our camera (which may be close to dropping off the face of the earth.)

We have been up to things such as going to the BYU game with awesome seats...

Finding, and devouring chocolate while I get dressed when I would much rather she was eating broccoli.

 There were a ton of Christmas festivities, which were all recorded on my camera!

But best of all, Holland finally gave in...

and my back thanks her!
